The Dubai loop is a revolutionary transport system set to transform travel in the UAE, promising speeds of up to 160 km/h. It will drastically reduce travel times between emirates, where a Dubai-Abu Dhabi journey will be merely 12 minutes instead of 80 minutes. The underground high-speed transport network spanning 17km (10.6 miles), a project by Elon Musk's The Boring Company and Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA), aims to carry more than 20,000 passengers per hour initially, with an eventual capacity of more than 100,000 people per hour.
